TYMI HOWARD
Tymi Howard is the Owner and Director of Guruv Yoga. Tymi is a Certified Yoga Instructor at the 500 E-RYT level with Yoga Alliance. Tymi is known in the yoga community as a skillful practitioner, and a dynamic, non-dogmatic, playful teacher!

Her introduction to yoga began at STEPS in NYC in 1993. After years of Ballet, several nagging injuries, and much soul searching, she found her way into an Ashtanga class. What a humbling, yet magical experience! It wasn't until she moved to California that she began to seek out this "yogic lifestyle" and embrace it.
While living in Los Angeles she discovered Anusara Yoga, and fell in love! She studied with Anthony Benenati and Ross Rayburn, and completed her first Teacher Training with Diana Beardsley,Desiree Rumbaugh, and John Friend. Tymi has also studied at depth  the Iyengar and Ashtanga-based yoga traditions with Shiva Rea, Seane Corn, Steve Ross, David Swenson, and most recently completed another teacher training with the "Teacher's Teacher" Sri Dharma Mittra, for whom I will forever consider my Guru. Om Shanti, Om Peace...

Tymi encourages her students to practice in life what they practice on their mat... to have the courage to open themselves up, lead with their hearts, flow with grace, and then allow that grace to flow into their lives!

MISSY WHITE

If we truly want to be happy we must go within! This is one of the many things that yoga has taught me. In 1999 I started practicing yoga and in many ways it saved my life – Because of this I decided to share the gift of yoga with as many people as possible. I had to follow my heart and perhaps a road less traveled.

In 2004, after 15 years in the weight loss industry, I left my job and traveled to Los Angeles for an intense nine week Instructional Training course at Bikram’s Yoga College of India. This was just the beginning of my journey. Since then I have trained with several other teachers such as David Swenson, Cameron Shayne, Shiva Rae, Ana Forrest, Desiree Rumbaugh, Duncan Wong and many others.

After 700 Instructional Training hours and thousands of hours of practice, I am still surprised by how much I can learn from my teachers as well as my students.

I am grateful to all those who bring such light into my life and it is always an honor to teach something as powerful as yoga.

A special thanks to my teacher Tony Nenov for inspiring me to share the Light!

SARAH HERZOG

Sarah experienced yoga for the first time in 2005. Since then she's overcome the battles and struggles of her emotional, physical, and spiritual health. "Yoga has transformed my entire well being and to think where I would be at this moment if I hadn't been introduced to this spiritual life, I feel would be the life less desired. I will forever be grateful to my mother, Cindy Herzog, for taking me to my first yoga class."

The passion of working with pregnant women began the summer of 2005 when she started working for Edmund Boulting, M.D. at Lake Mary Obstetrics and Gynecology. Continuing education to become an RN soon became redirected into a career as a Midwife. In these three years, Sarah has become educated in women's needs for physical, emotional, and spiritual health during the most amazing nine months of theirs lives.

Intertwining the love for yoga and a striving career to become a Midwife, Sarah hopes to provide this community a place where women can come together for support. A place where women in their miraculous times of their lives can also grow spiritually, become aware of their physical changes during pregnancy, and the ultimate goal of a safe and healthy delivery.

ROBBIE WALSH / 200 RYT

Humbled and very thankful to be given the opportunity to teach yoga, live life and to share my experiences in the very real atmosphere that our planet provides. To thrive off of the fruits of the land and share them with Mother Earth, Father Time, all beings, brothers, sisters and yogis is a great honor.
Surfing, art and music is what my life has been all about. Creativity  in or out of  nature and its elements play a large roll on the way we precieve and function in our daily lives, and  my body functions best in water. It relaxes the mind, soothes the soul and promotes positive thinking and yoga has given me a great alternative to the water. Practicing yoga and meditation is the only other time I feel like I can just get away from it all  mentally, physically and spiritually... just let go. Yoga gives me the same weightless feeling, happy thoughts and blissful vibrations that the water offers.
Yoga gives me focus,  intuition, strength and balance to help overcome any and all obstacles or challenges with a clear approach  and  has changed my life in many other positive ways. Most importantly, yoga and meditation has heightened my over all sense of awareness and compassion which has helped me enjoy life and its opportunities.  Im looking forward to sharing breath, movement. time, love, knowledge, and life with any and all beings.

By being a practitioner and student, I am able to live in the present more often ultimately taking my practice off the mat and hopefully being a kinder, gentler, more compassionate human being.
